Twenty Six days after the tragic events of September 11, 2001, the President of the United States George W. Bush ordered the U.S. Military into battle. Their mission was to destroy the Al Quaida network inside Afghanistan along with the illegitimate Taliban regime which was harboring and protecting the terrorists. The name of the operation was Enduring Freedom. Thus started America's Global war on Terrorism.
